Submitting OIG U.S. Postal Service OIG Report Description This interim report presents the results of our self-initiated audit of mail delivery, customer service, and property conditions at the Piedmont Station in Portland, OR (Project Number 22-030). The Piedmont Station is in the Idaho-Montana-Oregon District of the WestPac Area and services ZIP Code 97211, which services about 31,531 people and is considered to be an urban community. We chose the Piedmont Station based on the number of stop-the-clock (STC) scans occurring at the delivery unit, rather than at the customer’s delivery address.
