B.1.a.7: The DoD OIG recommended that the Defense Contract Management Agency Director establish internal controls, such as checklists, standard operating procedures, or reviews by supervisors, to ensure that contracting officers terminate the contracting officer's representative appointment when a contracting officer's representative has unsatisfactory performance, transfers, or retires and appoint a new contracting officer's representative.
