Rec. 1.b: The DoD OIG recommended the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness develop and implement policy and processes to require coordination across all of the Services for the co-location of inter-Service dual military spouses. The policy and processes should also require additional oversight from higher-level authorities in both Services, should the Services be unable to accommodate inter-Service co-location, similar to the Service-specific processes for intra-Service co-location.
