Report Description
At the request of the Chief of Police, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) followed up on two issues related the Review of the Student Loan Repayment Program (OIG-2007-07). Specifically, we determined whether (1) disbursements exceeding $10,000 for a recipient in an individual fiscal year, were funded with the appropriate fiscal year appropriation and (2) the disbursements under the student loan repayment program were included in the calculation for the annual salary cap.
