To ensure compliance with Department of Defense and U.S. Central Command requirements concerning the health of base personnel and to protect the U.S. government’s investment, we recommend that the Commander, U.S. Forces–Afghanistan: Take appropriate measures to prevent a reoccurrence of stagnant water at the FOB Salerno incinerator facility.
