We recommend the Executive for Legislative Archives, Presidential Libraries, and Museum Services (L) ensure policies and procedures are clarified and re-iterated to library personnel concerning  (1) sequestration of museum artifacts from library personnel other than museum personnel; (2) procedures to periodically review access logs and security camera tapes to ensure the museum collections storage areas from unauthorized access by security personnel or other persons; (3) key control programs are appropriately maintained; (4) security cameras are operational and are appropriately focused on high-value object; and (5) procedures to monitor off-hours night security guard staff to ensure roving patrols are being completed according to the security contract.
