Direct UNC to strengthen its administrative and management processes and procedures surrounding the payment of hourly employees. Updated procedures could include: Requiring that all hourly employees complete timesheets that support the number of hours of work performed and the project(s) to which the work related. b. Updating UNC’s hiring processes to require that all hourly employees be provided with hourly non-exempt appointments that clearly state the rate at which UNC will pay the employee.
