Text of Recommendation
We recommend that the Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education instruct ISBE to require District 152 to provide evidence that it can locate the eight Title I assets that we could not locate. If District 152 cannot locate any of the eight Title I assets, it should provide evidence proving that it properly disposed of and accounted for those assets in accordance with ISBE’s equipment disposition procedures.
