BOSTON – A Leicester woman has pleaded guilty to her involvement in a pandemic unemployment fraud scheme. Destinee Snay, 20, pleaded guilty on May 16, 2022 in federal court in Worcester to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. U.S. District Court Judge Timothy S. Hillman scheduled sentencing for Oct. 12, 2022. Snay was indicted in July 2021 along with co-defendant William Cordor.

BOSTON – A Reading man has been sentenced in connection with a scheme to defraud an elderly relative of her interest in a three-family home and a separate scheme to defraud the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance.

PORTLAND, Maine: A Westbrook woman pleaded guilty in federal court today for serving as a “money mule” for someone she met online, U.S. Attorney Darcie N. McElwee announced. A money mule is someone who transfers or moves illegally acquired money on behalf of someone else.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – United States Attorney Duane A. Evans and Jonathan Kanter, Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, announced that JOHNNY C. GUILLORY, SR., age 72, of Opelousas, Louisiana, was found guilty as charged on May 18, 2022 following a three-day jury trial before the Honorable Mary Ann Vial Lemmon.

Spokane, Washington – Vanessa R. Waldref, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, announced today that Roshon Edward Thomas, 52, of Spokane, Washington, has pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining more than $50,000 in COVID-19 relief funds. This case is part of the COVID-19 Relief Fraud Strike Force launched by the U.S. Attorney’s Office earlier this year. Senior Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson accepted Thomas’ guilty plea and set sentencing for August 16, 2022, in Spokane.

NASHVILLE – In a settlement reached last week, David Florence, D.O., a Manchester, Tennessee physician, agreed to be barred from prescribing Schedule II and the vast majority of Schedule III controlled substances, announced United States Attorney Mark H. BOSTON – A Lowell postal worker has been arrested for allegedly attempting to bribe and sell cocaine to a postal supervisor. John Noviello, of Nashua, N.H., 61, was charged with one count of bribery of a public official and one count of distribution of cocaine. Noviello was released on conditions following an initial appearance in federal court in Boston on May 12, 2022.
