To address the observations highlighted above, we recommend that the Under Secretary for Science, in coordination with the Administrator, National Nuclear Security Administration, work with the Managers of the National Nuclear Security Administration Production Office, Oak Ridge National Laboratory Site Office, Oak Ridge Office, and Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management to take the following actions:5. Update the Wildland Fire Management Plan to include an assessment of wildland fire risk for the Reservation and surrounding communities and a mitigation plan to address identified risks.
