FHFA should ensure that the Office of Housing and Regulatory Policy (a) develops and issues written guidance to the Enterprises on the data elements to be reported regularly for FHFA’s monitoring of the 97% LTV mortgage programs and (b) establishes quality control procedures to ensure that information reported by the Enterprises is reliable and conforms to the requirements of the written guidance
