Text of Recommendation
To improve future discretionary grant programs that use funds to develop new education and training programs, we recommend that the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Employment and Training explore new methods, similar to the Department of Education that changed administrative regulations to allow for data collection for an extended period after the end of the project, for the sole purpose of collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance data.
