Rec. 2: The DoD OIG recommended that the Defense Pricing and Contracting Principal Director work with the Defense Logistics Agency Director to identify alternative contracting strategies for procuring items from companies that sell sole-source spare parts in small quantities at low dollar values to the DoD more efficiently and at a lower price.
