Rec. 1.d: The DoD OIG recommended that the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Financial Operations coordinate with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisition and Procurement and the Director of the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems to review other commands that use the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system and direct the commands to disable the certifying officer role in the Invoice, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer system if their duties do not require it.
