Rec. 1.a: The DoD OIG recommended that the Deputy Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff direct the DoD co-chairs of the Joint DoD-Department of Homeland Security Cyber Protection and Defense Steering Group to work with the Department of Homeland Security co-chair of the Joint DoD-Department of Homeland Security Cyber Protection and Defense Steering Group to develop and approve plans of action and milestones for each line of effort.
